Minimum wage in Turkey
Turkey has a single national minimum wage, set each year by a tripartite Minimum Wage Determination Commission. It applies to all workers across the country.
Headline figure (second half of 2026)

Who sets it
The Minimum Wage Determination Commission, with representatives of employers, unions and the Government, sets it.
How it changes
It is set each year and normally takes effect on 1 January. The Government has raised it again part-way through a year when inflation was high.
Who is covered, and who is treated differently
- The same minimum applies across the country, with no regional or sector rates.
What to watch for
- The monthly figure shown is the gross amount; take-home pay is lower after deductions.
Understand the legal system first
Turkey belongs to the Civil law family. How pay is regulated depends on how the legal system makes and applies labour law.
