Minimum wage in Morocco
Morocco has two statutory minimum wages: the SMIG, per hour, for industry, commerce and services, and the SMAG, per day, for agriculture. Both are set by Government decree.

Who sets it
The Government sets the SMIG and SMAG by decree, usually after talks between the Government, the main trade unions and the employers' confederation.
How it changes
Changes follow tripartite agreements and are spread over several steps. They are published in the Official Bulletin.
