In 2013 there were 3.6 divorces per 1,000 people in Chile. In 2021 the rate was 3.6, which is about the same.

This line can jump in 2020 and 2021, when many weddings were postponed and the number of marriages fell sharply, even if divorces did not change much. It is a comparison of two yearly totals, not a forecast for any couple.
