Module 7
Governing and using the numbers: ownership, access, ethics and decisions
A dashboard is not finished when it is published. Someone must keep the data fresh, keep the definitions stable, decide who may see what and answer when a partner asks why her figure has changed. The numbers will be used in decisions about people and money, and they are made from information that belongs to clients, who have a right to expect it to be protected. This module covers the work after the build: ownership and a shared glossary, access and the protection of small numbers, keeping an analysis reproducible so that it can be checked, the ethics of measuring colleagues, the care needed when an AI tool writes the queries and how a finding becomes a decision and a follow-up.
