The Law To Know

Capstone

Capstone: a dashboard and a report for the managing partner

The managing partner of an invented firm has asked for a picture of how the firm’s matters are going. She is not a data person and she has ten minutes. Your task is to do what an analyst does: check the data, answer her questions with queries, choose the measures and charts for a one-page dashboard, and write a short report that says what you found, how far to trust it and what to do next. The data is the table of invented matters in the Query Playground, so everything you need is in the browser. Your answers will come from your own queries, so the report will be yours, and no two will be quite alike.
