Module 4
Presenting your work: formats, walkthroughs, visuals and questions
Good work badly presented is invisible. A busy reader opens your portfolio, cannot tell in half a minute what it shows and closes it. A hiring panel asks you to walk through a project, and you spend four of your five minutes on the background. This module teaches the practical side of presenting: which format suits which situation, how to lay out a portfolio so that the best piece is found at once, how to draw diagrams that explain rather than decorate, how to give a short walkthrough with a demonstration, how to adapt your explanation to lawyers and to business people and how to answer the hard questions, which will come, honestly and calmly.
