The Law To Know

Capstone

Capstone: design and justify an AI-assisted contract review workflow

The general counsel of an invented company has asked whether AI can help her team with the first-pass review of supplier agreements. She is interested and cautious. She wants to know what you would build, how you would know that it works, what could go wrong and whether she should proceed. Your task is the one a legal engineer faces every week: design the workflow, specify its parts, plan the evidence and put the case for a decision in one page. Nothing here requires you to run a model. The test of your work is whether another lawyer could build and test the workflow from your design, and whether the general counsel could rely on your note to decide.
