Module 7
Leading yourself and growing as a leader: awareness, feedback, time, influence and succession
The final subject of leading others is leading yourself. A leader who does not understand their own habits, who never hears honest feedback, who is always exhausted or who cannot let go of the work that they used to do will struggle however good their methods. This module is about the personal side of leadership: knowing yourself, asking for the truth and hearing it, managing your time and energy so that you have something to give, influencing colleagues and clients over whom you have no authority, coaching and mentoring others, the particular transition from outstanding lawyer to leader, preparing your own succession and writing a development plan that you will actually follow. It closes the course, and the practical skills of the series so far.
Module 1 of this course is free, and this is not it. Unlock the whole course below, or go back to the course page.
