How to use it
- When: one person lends money to another (family, friends, partners, small businesses), with or without interest, to be repaid on a set date or in instalments.
- Fill in everything in [square brackets] and delete the options you do not use. If there is no interest, say so clearly.
- Form: write it down, sign two originals, and keep proof that the money was handed over (bank transfer with a clear reason, or a signed receipt).
- Not for: consumer credit offered by a lender as a business, mortgages, or loans between relatives that you intend as a gift.
