Capstone
Capstone: redesign client onboarding at a small firm
The capstone asks you to do what a legal engineer does on a process project: take messy facts about how work really goes, find what is wrong, write the rules as logic that can be tested and design a better process with numbers to support it. The material is client onboarding at an invented firm, Marlow & Pryce LLP, with eleven lawyers and four assistants. There is no single right answer. What matters is that your analysis follows the evidence, your rules are tested and your design can be explained on one page.

See what is included in All-Access →General education on process design, using invented organisations, policies and figures. It is not legal advice. Rules in the examples are illustrations: a real policy or statute must be read from its source, and any decision logic built from it should be checked by a lawyer.
