Capstone
Capstone: a people plan for a small firm
Brightwater Legal is an invented firm of eight people in a mid-sized city: two partners, two associates, a paralegal, a legal assistant, an office manager and a part-time bookkeeper. It acts for owner-managed businesses and their owners. The firm is busy and has grown, and its managing partner, Dana Okafor, has asked you to help her with its people. She has a vacancy to fill, a worry about two of her team and a hard conversation she has been putting off. Your task is to turn her facts into a practical people plan, using what you have learnt, and to say where the law of the country where the firm sits must be checked.
