Module 6
AI and personal data: training, prompts, profiling and automated decisions
AI does not sit outside data protection law. Where an AI system uses personal data, the same principles, bases and rights apply. But AI raises its own questions: personal data can enter at several points, systems learn from data in ways that are hard to reverse, outputs can be wrong or biased, and some systems make or inform decisions about people. This module connects what you have learned to AI. It is general: the regulation of AI is changing, so it teaches the questions to ask, and tells you to check the current rules.
